It's funny how, in the second one, I look like such a dork, but in the first one, I look amazing since I have mad saber skills. :)

Animal Hands and Masking Tape Murals

Here's the latest projects we've done in Art!  At least, the latest ones that I have pictures of.

The first project we did was contour lines of our hands in poses, which we then turned into animals.  The day we showed them off, we were allowed to paint the drawing on our actual hand!  Mine was a badger.

It's backwards because, when I made the original drawing and compared it to an actual badger's head, their shapes were nothing alike going out from my wrist, but then I realized that I could turn it backwards and it'd look fine.(Longest caption ever)

Portfolio Page: Masking Tape Mural

1. This week we showed how straight lines can be used to make an image.
2. We looked at other advanced masking tape murals for inspiration.
3. Our team brainstormed some ideas for what we could do for the mural and we came up with the idea to do an endless hallway.
4. We drew a rough draft, we did measurements on the wall, and we made the mural.
5. The final product is below.
6. I think that this piece turned out very well.  It was very successful because we made it exactly the way we wanted it.  All in all, everything about this project worked.

Yeah, it's awesome.
